Club Overview

The whole club on one screen — this week's plan for every category, and, for the performance direction, how the season is actually going across teams.

App page: Club Overview.html

What it is

Club Overview is the screen for whoever is responsible for more than one team. It has two halves: the week, which is every category's plan side by side with today's availability, load, RPE and wellness; and the direction views, which compare teams over 30 days, 90 days or a season.

When you use it

The week is a morning read: what is planned today, who is out, what still needs attention. The season, injuries, squad and staff views are for the periodic review — a monthly or quarterly look at whether the club is holding up, not a daily one.

How it works

Scope it, or don't. The team selector at the top runs from All teams down to a single category, and every card follows it. Unlike the rest of the app, the default here is the whole club — that is the point of the page.

Read the week's KPIs. Sessions this week, squad available, average session load, weekly E:P ratio, RPE compliance, wellness/readiness and return to play. Each one carries the chip that says how much of it is actually covered by data.

Work the weekly schedule. Every day shows its field and gym sessions, matches, travel and days off. Clicking a day opens its detail; from there, Open Daily Planning or Open Gym Planner take you to where it is edited.

Check what needs attention. The attention panel raises what a director would want to see before the day starts. Staff activity shows who did what today.

Switch to the direction views. Week, Season, Injuries, Squad and Staff, each over 30 days, 90 days or the season. Season compares teams side by side; Injuries is the epidemiological profile; Squad is size, age, thin positions and contracts expiring within six months; Staff is who is actually using the platform.

Key concepts

Nothing recorded is not the same as nobody injured. If no availability was recorded today, nobody is marked as out — and the page says so explicitly instead of showing a clean squad. Players with no record for today count as available, which is how the Availability screen reads a blank day. It is a gap in the data, not a clean bill of health.

Every average tells you its coverage. Average session load is computed over the sessions that have a load recorded, and the chip shows how many out of the week's sessions that is. Three sessions out of nine is a different number from nine out of nine, even when the average is identical.

RPE compliance uses the same rule as the RPE screen. Who is expected to submit: the called-up squad if there is one, otherwise the roster, minus anyone sick, unavailable, away with a national team or on a day off that day, minus explicit exemptions. Sessions where nobody submitted anything are reported separately rather than counted as everyone failing — a session that never collected RPE is a different problem from a squad that ignored it.

Wellness leaves out the day off. Players on a day off are excluded from the count — unless they checked in anyway, which still counts.

The E:P ratio reads the plan. It is the average of the percentages planned for the week in Load Planner, expressed as a ratio. It tells you what was intended for the week, not what was executed.

Availability, over a period, is a share of player-days. In the direction views it is the share of recorded player-days where the player was not injured, sick, unavailable or away. Days lost counts every day an injury overlaps the period.

Incidence is an estimate, and it says so. New injuries per 1 000 hours of exposure, where exposure multiplies each session's duration by the players not marked out that day (rehab sessions excluded). It is an estimate built from the plan, not a measured figure. A recurrence is a second injury for the same player in the same region — and since body area is free text, the region is as precise as this can honestly get.

Body areas are grouped, and the original is kept. "Left Hamstring", "hamstring" and "Isquiotibial" fall into one region and the side is dropped. Hovering a row shows what was originally typed.

Staff activity is staff, deliberately. It counts only actions with a signed-in author. Player submissions — RPE, wellness, GPS imports — are recorded without one and are left out, so the number reflects staff work and not squad traffic.

FAQ

Who can open this page? The performance direction, plus admins and owners. It is not a page every coach sees, because its whole purpose is the view across categories.

Why is availability 100% when I know someone is injured? Because nothing was recorded today. The page flags that case rather than hiding it — check the chip under the card.

Why do RPE compliance here and in the RPE screen agree? They implement the same definition on purpose. If they ever disagree, that is a bug worth reporting.

A team's load, RPE and wellness columns are empty. There were no sessions in that period. The page says so rather than showing zeros, which would read as "they trained and nobody answered".

Can I leave this on a screen in the office? That is what the wider density and the reduced chrome are for. Pick the scope you want and leave it; the cards refresh on their own.
